Brief Description: Elevating a 2D space-shooter from hyper-casual origins to a compelling hybrid-casual game was a strategic move driven by promising metrics. This transition aimed at aligning the game with the evolving landscape of hybrid-casual gaming.

My Roles:

  • Spearheaded the constant design of new features for each iteration, ensuring a progressive and engaging user experience.

  • Conducted A/B tests to analyze and optimize various game elements, employing data-driven decision-making.

  • Collaborated with fellow designers and Product Owners to formulate comprehensive iteration roadmaps and define the global vision of the game.

  • Led a cross-functional team comprising designers, artists, and developers, fostering collaboration for efficient project execution.

  • Maintained meticulous game balance to deliver a compelling and enjoyable user experience.

  • Executed level design both in Unity and Figma, utilizing a dual-tool approach for a comprehensive design perspective.

  • Conducted Quality Assurance (QA) for each iteration build, ensuring a seamless and bug-free gameplay experience.
